Here's a letter that has been sent to the PM, MPs, and Sheila Fraser (not by me):

The Hon. Paul Martin, Prime Minister of Canada

Office of the Prime Minister

Ottawa, ON

K1A 0A6

December 19, 2005

Dear Mr. Martin

Open Letter. Re: Gomery Report Findings into the Adscam Sponsorship Scandal

Now that we understand the first part of the Gomery Enquiry mandate has established a total figure of some $355 million, I wonder if you would list for Canada who got the $355 million?

My research on the Web, failed to reveal this information. But it did indicate that the firm Knoll Lindquist Avey of Toronto did the accounting. In trying to reach that firm I discovered that Knoll Lindquist Avery is no more. Apparently, it has been sold to Navigant Consulting, 416-777-2440, also of Toronto. Not only would a Bob Macdonald of Navigant Consulting not give me the information sought, he would not even advise as to how I could reach Justice John Gomery, who, presumably, is the very person for whom the work was done.

As you yourself called for the enquiry in the first place, with part one of a two part mandate now completed on November 1, 2005, I feel rather than spending any more of my own time, you should provide us with the information.

To keep it simple, rather than listing all the recipients of the approximate $355 million individually, why not just provide the names only of those that got $100,000 or more, and total all amounts under $100,000 in one lump figure.

Thank you for your initiative in ensuring that our federal government is determined to provide full accountability as to how our tax money was spent in this matter while you were Minister of Finance. In order to ensure absolute integrity in the Canadian federal government for the future, please provide the requested information promptly now that the accounting was completed as of November 1.

Yours truly,
