Danger pay


He’s the longest-serving Conservative MP in Parliament, a committed antique car collector and a tireless advocate for his rural Nova Scotian constituents.

Bill Casey, MP Bill Casey has seen many changes since first being elected in 1988, including a lot less government on the ground in his riding. He also just bought a 50-year-old car whose tail lights he has stared at for twenty years through a dusty barn window. Casey says he’s famous because he’s my seatmate in the House of Commons, and now needs danger pay as a result.

Good job Garth – I didn’t realize how little access to government services the people in that area of the country actually have. Also good to hear about the issues from other parts of the country – helps to give some perspective to the issues we are talking about here in the GTA.

Bill is clearly a well spoken, class act who strongly supports his party and ministers……someone to be emulated…..
