Effective ad. Very positive.

Oh hell yes. I love it.

#3 PJW on 04.18.07 at 5:05 pm

Great ad with focus on the Leader and not on the opposition!

#4 k shamash on 04.18.07 at 5:11 pm

What is Mr Dions position now on climate change?
Sounds like Alberta will bear the brunt of it, whatever it is.
As an example, the oil sands projects were virtually non existent back in the early nineties, and they are now cited as a major source of this so called co2 emmissions.
Problem is the oil sands is now the major source of Alberta’s tax revenue base, and by extension a huge source of Canadian gov’t revenues from direct taxes and indirect revenue transfer.

#5 Truth on 04.18.07 at 5:25 pm

Wow, so Mr. Dion was instrumental in signing a climate deal.

And then he returned to Canada where he allowed CO2 levels in increase even faster, under his watch as Environment Minister.

Was the agreement that all the members would give their pets “green” names?

#6 Lawrence Garvin on 04.18.07 at 5:36 pm

“Canada’s Liberals”? Is Dion marketing himself to the UN or something? Presumption is the weakness that Liberals can not overcome.

#7 Kevin M on 04.18.07 at 5:47 pm

*sniff* I smell angry conservatives… keep em coming guys, this ad speaks for itself.

#8 Lisa on 04.18.07 at 5:49 pm

We need to see more of Dion doing this. Bravo!

#9 Sandra Dee on 04.18.07 at 6:01 pm

Yes, really great. Mr. Dion went to a meeting. He talked. He is a great great leader. Will there be more ads showing all the other really great stuff he did while he was in government?

#10 PJW on 04.18.07 at 6:08 pm

Will there be more ads showing all the other really great stuff he did while he was in government?

I hope so, it is so refreshing to have a positive ad instead of the bashing negative type ads

#11 LoH_Numa on 04.18.07 at 6:08 pm

It’s very refreshing to see a positive ad.

And one that doesn’t look like it was put together by a 12 year old with a Mac and an old VCR.

#12 LoH_Numa on 04.18.07 at 6:10 pm

It’s a very refreshing ad. It’s nice to one that’s so positive, and one that doesn’t look like it’s been done by a 12 year old with a Mac and an old VCR.

I think taking the positive approach might be the right way to highlight the Conservative anger and negativity. It’s quite a different juxtaposition…but the approach will only be effective with a strong ground force on election day.

#13 tori on 04.18.07 at 6:13 pm

but sandra, dion did get them all to agree to dialogue more, to set up committees to talk more about climate change.

Of course, this ad suggests that Dion single-handedly solved global warming in one fell swoop instead of actually what he did do: consensus to do more of the same.

#14 Bill-Muskoka on 04.18.07 at 6:14 pm

Excellent Stephane Dion Is A Real Leader that gets REAL RESULTS! Totally positive, and totally true!

#15 kallie on 04.18.07 at 6:15 pm

I love the positivity of the new ad. That is the vision I want to keep in my mind. I especially like the ending when Stephane lifts his hands and signals “yes” Just like he is going to do when he wins the next election and becomes our new Prime Minister. It seems his actions speak as loud as his words — let us work cooperatively. He said that in 2005 and demonstrated it again with Elizabeth May.

Canada can look forward to a new leader in Stephane Dion who will lead us into a future of profitablility and sustainability while healing and protecting our environment.

I don’t general post on Garths forum, but I had to ask 2 questions. I figured since you sign your name as the truth, you could give me a thruthful answer
This add is from December 2005, if what you says is true “where he allowed CO2 levels in increase even faster” Could you tell how much it increased between December 10, 2005 and Febuary 6, 2006? As of Febuary 6, 2006 it became the Conservatives responsibility. What have they done since then to improve our CO2 levels?

PS.
Rona Ambrose was elected as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Edmonton-Spruce Grove on June 28, 2004 and was re-elected for a second term on January 23, 2006. She was subsequently appointed as Minister of the Environment on February 6, 2006.

#17 Tammy on 04.18.07 at 6:23 pm

Oh ya, I absolutely love the positive ads. Hope the keep comming :)

#18 Kevin M on 04.18.07 at 6:27 pm

Loh, I have to disagree, there must be attack ads. Harper and his cronies, especially Bev Oda and Maxime Bernier have a lot to answer for.

The public must know why our economy has gone for a rollercoaster ride, and it all starts with BCE – income trusts, deregulation, copyright, everything.

It all boils down to the unparalleled access lobbyists have to the harper government and this story must be told.

#19 Tim N on 04.18.07 at 6:28 pm

Wow, so Mr. Dion was instrumental in signing a climate deal.

By Truth on 04.18.07 5:25 pm

This was signed in December 2005. You’re bashing Dion for not getting anything done in 1 month?

This was a good commercial. i don’t agree withe verything Dion has said or done, but this commercial has class, and only talks about his achievements. My opinion on him just went up.

#20 MJ on 04.18.07 at 6:28 pm

Like several other posters here, I very much like the new Liberal ads. And the more I see and hear from Dion, the more I respect and admire him. He’s a keeper — and has managed to avoid lowering himself to the depths of the Harper government by creating clear, positive ads that simply showcase leadership instead of smearing the others.

A class act, this Dion. And on the MPTV video of Brison and McCallum, I have to say I also find Brison very likeable and smart too.

Liberals: we’re the ones with the brains and the hearts. Proud to be one.

#21 slg on 04.18.07 at 6:30 pm

Fabulous ad – the NDP and Conservative strategists “overreacted” with critique on Mike Duffy which tells me they are successful.

I wish people would get their facts straight before making comments (especially the Conserv. supporters).

The Conference was held in “Montreal” – Dion didn’t have to come back to Canada – he arranged for people from all over the world to attend this conference. This was held the day the government was brought down and yet he kept going – that’s dedication and leadership.

Dion was only environment minister for about 1-1/2 years (not 13 years) – about the same time as the Harper has been PM – what’s the PM done about it in the same time frame?

After the environment commissioners’ negative report on the Liberal record she was interviewed (I saw her myself). She said that she was optimistic because the Liberals (Dion) did have some very positive initiatives and she was encouraged (these were to commence Feb/06) – these were the initiatives. The Conservatives cancelled them.

If I’m not mistaken – Ignatieff said the “we” didn’t get it done. I’m not sure, but I do believe that’s what he said not “you” didn’t get it done.

#22 Markus D. on 04.18.07 at 6:31 pm

“Will there be more ads showing all the other really great stuff he did while he was in government?”

I hope so too. I would like to see some of the clarity act stuff. I think that is really a testiment, like it or not, to his leadership abilities. To those who don’t think getting that many countries to agree on a consensus isn’t that big of a deal, I think it is pretty impressive, and Harper has never done anything even close to garnering that kind of consensus.

Cooperation for Harper is throwing a whole bunch of money at Quebec to get sepratists to support a budget designed to divide Canadians.

It is a really good ad. I hope it goes over well with Canadians.

#23 GGF on 04.18.07 at 6:35 pm

k shamash,
“What is Mr Dions position now on climate change?”

Tax CO2 until gas is $2/L like in the UK and shut down the oil sands.

“Sounds like Alberta will bear the brunt of it, whatever it is.”

National Energy Program the Sequel: Dion’s Revenge

“Problem is the oil sands is now the major source of Alberta’s tax revenue base, and by extension a huge source of Canadian gov’t revenues from direct taxes and indirect revenue transfer.”

If Dion wins, get ready for a recession because that is one of the only ways to meet Kyoto’s target date. The Liberals basically procrastinated for 5 years and now expects Canada to rush to meet the targets. Not very forward thinking.

#24 Jackie Chan's Left Hand on 04.18.07 at 6:43 pm

As an example, the oil sands projects were virtually non existent back in the early nineties, and they are now cited as a major source of this so called co2 emissions.

Factually incorrect on all points .
The oil sands have been in production since 1967 .
They are a major contributor to CO2 emissions .
Where did you get this info ?

I have said it many times;

Conservatives underestimate Stephana Dion at their peril.

Yes, lets have more ads like that. But take it easy with the money because I don’t Harper would be ill advised enough to call an election now. Unless he wants to commit political sepuku.

#27 JudyK on 04.18.07 at 6:53 pm

Excellent positive ad, very professionally done. We need more of the same to juxtapose the Liberal leader’s strong, cooperative approach to the divisive, mean-spirited politics practised by Harper’s Conservatives.

Mr Dion’s new add definitely shows he can deal effectively on an international
playing field with the very serious topic of Global Warming.
Been an interesting day.Mr. Williams from Dannyland wants Flaherty’s resignation. The two ladies from Ontario implicated in those murders in Mexico want McKay’s resignation. And PMSH,s face has turned red.Think he might have a secret desire to cross the floor.I figure after the next election it’ll be back to a very pale white.

“THEY said IT couldn’t be done”…

Could you be specific about who THEY were and what IT is?”

This confernece in Dion’s home riding of Montreal cost taxpayer’s $50 million.

What exactly did Canadian taxpayers get for their money? I understand it was some kind of agreement to have more talks.

So now which country is going to put up the big bucks to have an enviro-chat fest next?

So many questions. Funny Dion used this conference as his best success as that is where he was presented the “Woody” Award for failing the environment.

Strange times. I guess will appeal to the Green Party members the Liberals are wooing though.

#38 Judy on 04.18.07 at 8:13 pm

It seems taxpayers are paying Harper’s make-up artist. She is part of his “government staff”. Incredibly there are no records of her employment or how much she is being paid.
I thought Harper said his government was going to be open and transparent?
Makes me wonder who else is on his secret payroll. Or should I say “our” payroll.

#41 Ryan on 04.18.07 at 8:37 pm

Truth:

Yes, Mr. Dion was instrumental in signing an international climate agreement. BUT before you make negative accusatory statements, check your facts.

The UN agreement was signed on December 10, 2005 in the midst of Canada’s 39th general election.

As President of the conference, Dion put aside partisan politics. He delayed the start of his own riding campaign to unite 182 nations. Together, they successfully negotiated an agreement which aims to ensure the long time vitality of our planet.

The 2005/2006 election resulted in Paul Martin’s government being defeated. Therefore, do not accuse Dion of returning from this conference and allowing C02 levels to increase –he was not given the opportunity to implement policy legislation to fulfill the international agreement. (It is also fair to state that all Canadians know the Liberals did not loose the last election due to their environmental platform.)

However, what’s more important “Truth”: Dion demonstrated leadership and received respect from the international community for his involvement within the process.

Overall, the release of the positive TV ad was amazing. It has reaffirmed my support for the Liberal party whenever the coming election campaign arrives. I cannot wait to campaign on behalf of my local Liberal candidate (after all my final essays are submitted).

Talked to a few Tory youth supporters today: they all expressed jealously and are impressed the Liberals have upstaged them by providing the Canadian public what they really want: positive ads! After a year and a half, Canada’s “New” Government should have been able to present a few positive ads before now don’t you think?

#43 CyberGreek on 04.18.07 at 9:15 pm

FIRST: The slickness of this ad is not necessarily anything to crow about. The Libs had nicely edited ads in the last campaign with slick transitions, soothing voice-overs, etc. and they fell flat.

Success is all about the message. These work, not by reason of slickness, but by reason of message. A wholly constructive and globally aware message. Wow! Talk about grabbing back the agenda.

SECOND: This will also be a big morale booster for the grass roots Liberals and caucus. It will incite a higher level of manic exasperation from the CPC. Perhaps they can use some video from the G8 meeting in Russia last summer, video of GW Bush back-slapping with his new pal Steve. That’s the sum total of PMSH’s credibility on global affairs. Ugh.

In answer to your comments yes Stephane Dion was instrumental insigning a climate deal but he didn’t come back to Canada because he didn’t leave the conference was held in Montreal.
As for allowing CO2 levels increase under his watch From December 2005 to February 2006, boy that was a long time.
What has the Harper party done about the levels from February 2006 to April 2007.

#50 Ed the Hun on 04.18.07 at 11:07 pm

Jackie,

Funny how you only tell part of the story.

Yah the oil sands go back to ’67, but that doesn’t come close to telling the truth about the situation.

In the early ’90s conventional oil output far exceeded non-conventional. This was round about the time that that kyoto thing was signed (that committed the country to reducing its output below those levels by 6%).

Now for why you neglected to include the reason that this is a problem.

Let us say that at the same time that kyoto was done, there had only been one car plant in Windsor. And of course kyoto committed the country/province to reduce its output by 6%. Now while nothing actually happened over the next 13 years regarding reductions, in the meantime, 4 more car plants were built in Windsor.

Of course under kyoto there is no consideration for economic expansion, so now the good folks of Ontario would have to:

a. find some REALLY innovative ways to reduce their CO2 output (unlikely given today’s technology);

b. pay someone a whole bunch of money to buy carbon credits (of course that would have a price impact on the product); or

c. close the damn factories that are causing the problem (the increase from the 1990 level).

So, Jackie, I’ll find for you (since I know you have trouble in getting the facts) what the output of the tar sands was when kyoto was signed and what it is now since I wouldn’t want you to think that I’m trying to get a fast one by you. I’ll let the facts speak for themselves.

Ed the Hun

“That will teach those whining sniveling cowgirls to mess with the Masters of the Universe. Teach the rednecks a well deserved lesson in humility.” –Jackie Chan’s Left Hand.

Who are the “Masters of the Universe”? Are they humble? Who is to teach who a lesson in humility, and upon what grounds are some “Masters of the Universe” and others to be humbled?

“Personally, I practice Animism… Spiritual beliefs are only a small part of the human psyche.” –Jackie Chan’s Left Hand.

Jackie, does not Animism teach the inter-connectedness of all things as part of the whole? So how does not Animist separate spirituality from matter when the two are inter-connected?

Is not Animism a belief system that does not accept the separation of body and soul, of spirit from matter?

Does not Animism assume that the unification of matter and spirit plays a role in daily life 24 hours a day?

If spirituality and the material world are to be unified and integrated rather than fragmented and disconnected, how can you separate your spirituality from your beliefs regarding public policy?

Would it not be more of a split personality to be an Animist in private but a Secularist in public? How can one separate one’s faith from one’s advocacy for public policy?

What I am suggesting is that even secular humanism is a religion, based upon metaphysical assumptions (that separates spirituality from matter) when it cannot be scientifically proven that spirituality is divorced from matter.

So we all bring to the public form certain faith assumptions which might be called “religious” whether it be Elizabeth May, yourself, or anyone, would you not agree?

To say either that there is or is not anything beyond matter is a faith assumption that cannot be scientifically proven.

Have a good day, Jackie Chan’s Left Hand.

I think this may be appropriate to the Cons for their actions against the many people who have been devestated by the income trust fiasco. Pay particular attention to the very end of the song. I think he meant this for Flaherty and Harper.

I think it’s a great contrast to the phoney CRAP attempt to advance their theme of ‘denial, delay, obfuscate, and pay for useless trips on the world stage. Under Harper’s Bizarre, Canada is just not recognized on the world stage. Because it’s a world problem, it must be addressed by at least 182 nations. We’re seeing a substantial theme change in the US as well.

Surely, BUT SURELY, it beats the Hell outa this!

Yup, Stephane is our new god and saviour.

Sheesh folks, his staff setup a meeting, he and his staff wrote his speech, thousands of people flew (using airplanes and fuels) to Montreal, he flew to Montreal, and he gave a speech. What’s environmental about that?

I guess, these die-hard environmental leaders haven’t hear of electronic communications and video conferences.

BTW: don’t you think that these other world leaders would want some of the credit of signing another agreement on a tree product?

For those saying that he only had a month (december 2005 to january 2006), are you saying that before December 2005, Stephane Dion wasn’t an environmentalist and a leader?

Side note for Judy and Bill, you may want to check out the facts, the stylist is paid CPC. Of course, I don’t expect a retraction from you…. that would be too much to expect.

#63 PJW on 04.19.07 at 5:27 am

Would it not be more of a split personality to be an Animist in private but a Secularist in public? How can one separate one’s faith from one’s advocacy for public policy?

By free will…if one chooses to allow one’s faith beliefs to dictate their preference in legislation without regard for other’s faith beliefs, I would suggest that if the majority switches in this country from Christian to some other form of religious practice, some who support this view might change position rather quickly.

Nothing like starting the day with a good line and a good laugh, brought to you by none other than the host of this website:
Liberal MP Garth Turner also took a shot at his former boss: “It’s a legitimate question. I think it’s an embarrassing one to him because he likes the cowboy image and not all cowboys wear powder.”

It is pretty serious [POOP]INGS, when your pancake makeup fails to hide your EM-BARE-ASS-MENT!

http://corrigan.ca/april19-07.jpg

What taxpayers now require:

1. A Sheila Fraser value-for-money audit to determine whether Harper Bizarre’s travelling preener is worth the money.

2. A short trip down the lane to see the GG, to trigger a highly volatile dismissal of CRAP from office, by a very angry Canadian electorate.

#66 Sandra Dee on 04.19.07 at 7:39 am

You guys need to get off the stylist thing. Chretien had one and took her everywhere. When our great dear leader becomes Prime Minister he will have one also. When you are representing Canada you have to look good. Our dear great leader is colour blind and his wife picks out all his clothes which makes sense. There are more important things to talk about isn’t there?

#67 Elias on 04.19.07 at 7:52 am

Catherine: You are categorily wrong. The CPC has refused to answer who is paying for Harper’s personal “Stylist”. Their refusal to answer can mean only one thing – Harper’s personal stylist is being paid for by our tax dollars. Given the fact that this stylist flys around with harper, has her own staff and budget suggest that she is costing us taxpayers a small fortune! Harper is a hypocrite of the first order. Harper himself criticised other politicians for engaging the services of a personal stylist (such as Preston Manning), then turns around and hires a personal 24/7 styling “team” at taxpayers expense. BOOT THE BUMB OUT.

Ah, a BEAUTIFUL Spring morning. Saw my first Blue Jay flitting about in the trees.

The trees have sprouted their buds, and Green will soon return to the Muskoka.

Waking I felt invigorated in a way I have not felt for several years. I think that glorious positive feeling started to diminish about the time of AdScam.

This morning I remembered the feeling of my Canada being a land of honesty and unlimited hope for a solid future for all, and myself and family.

I stopped to contemplate ‘why’ would this feeling come over me this morning? Was it Spring? Was it a really good night’s sleep? Then it hit me!

No, those were contributing factors, as was sunshine after months on end of cold and snow, Lake Effect snowsqualls, all which can contribute SADD, and we all get it.

No, the primary reason was the new Stephane Dion positive ad. A smiling leader who is energetic, intelligent, and has a personality. I felt revived knowing there is someone at the Helm of State who I actually admire. One of the reasons I rejoiced when I immigrated to Canada over a decade ago.

Then I looked through the morning news beginning with the Star, the Editorial cartoon pretty much said it all about yesterday’s QP, and I also realized the MSM has, once again, seen the budding of the political tree. Yes, it will be a very joyful Spring for most Canadians.

Thank you Stephane…you made so many smile with the pride we love our country with. A smile that has not been around for several years.

Bob Fife was on Mike Duffy yesterday and said that the party’s coffers are paying for the sylist, as you call it Elais. You can’t accuse them of something without any proof.

#72 donna on 04.19.07 at 9:19 am

Ah yes – Global Warming – Stephane you did good – focusing on all that Global Warming – you did such a good job in reducing that Global Warming that we are currently under a HEAVY SNOWFALL WARNING on APRIL 19th!

Great Job Stephane!!!!!

NOT!!!!

Sandra Dee (I thought you were dead?),

Our dear great leader is colour blind

Ah, so what explains all the other blindness Harper bears as a burden?

(That has to be the lamest excuse for Harper todate, and doesn’t say much for his wife’s taste’s either, but then she married him. Personally I feel sorry for the kids and the cat! Maybe Peter Van Loan can offer some attire recommendations, or Don Cherry! LMAO!)

Are you having a brain hemorrhage or something? I can’t understand what you printed. I’m sure it was all very nice and stuff…but still couldn’t understand it.

Bill, you are a funny guy. Mean but funny. What is wrong with being colour blind? I have an uncle who is, but my aunt doesn’t pick out his clothes. He looks silly all the time with purple pants, yellow shirt and green socks. He, like Mr. Dion (dear, dear beloved leader XXOO), does not drive because of it. Do you make fun of all handicapped people? You are so silly.

#75 Nike Nichols on 04.19.07 at 10:43 am

“Whatever Nike. You trying to teach me what I know. Forget it.” –Jackie Chan’s Left Hand.

So are you saying that in your Animistic faith, you do believe that all of reality is inter-connected and unified? You know that this is what you believe if you are an Animist.

Therefore, you cannot separate your spirituality and your faith from your public policy advocacy for public policies for governments who deal in the material realm, because matter and spirituality are connected.

Jackie Chan’s Left Hand, I need a better response than to simply say, “For get it!”

You need to be more forthcoming and transparent.

You have previously tried to minimize the significance of spirituality to the human psyche, but now you admit that you are an Animist which integrates spirituality with all matter.

Tell us, Jackie Chan’s Left Hand, how do you separate your faith from your involvement in politics, and remain an Animist at the same time?

Jackie Chan’s Left Hand?

Sandra Dee,

You, at least, have a sense of humour and that is quite refreshing. I once had a friend who suffered most of his life from Cerebral Palsey. I would take him to job interviews, placing his wheel chair in the trunk.

He, despite his crippling disease, also maintained a good sense of hunour. He would reply, when asked ‘Why should we hire you?’; ‘I’m handicapped, we are fun to watch!’

So, no I do make fun of handicapped people. I have several physical handicaps myself due to injuries, but I do not use them as an excuse for other actions. That was how it came across to me this morning in your comment. Please post more.

Nichols
I owe you nothing by way of an explanation my thoughts and beliefs are my own and not for public consumption .
I know what I believe . Iwill discuss this no further .

#78 Leasa on 04.19.07 at 11:38 am

I am glad you do not make fun of handi-capped people. But, that is one good thing about being handi-capped is you can use it for an excuse when you are just feeling pissy or lazy or whatever you can tell the world to back off, I’m handi-capped. You can also get away with telling people to go stuff it, because what bully wants to be seen arguing with the handi-capped? So our great beloved wonderful leader cannot see colour and the Prime Minister has poor taste, so what if they need special help? When our great wonderful leader is Prime Minister too we will give him someone also and give his wife a break.

I think you are losing it. Just a hunch. — Garth

I love the positive ads. I checked out the Conservative website and found Dion’s picture there and wondered if I had accessed the wrong website. Dion has too much class to stoop to American style campaigning. He doesn’t need to – he has a message and he will deliver it intelligently and with respect of the public.

We cannot afford to NOT do anything about climate change – it will cost us even more if we don’t. I don’t feel sorry for Albertans – the gig is up. Half of Newfoundland is working in Fort McMurray – look at what they did to the cod – the cod never came back. Alberta is facing an acute water shortage because they are draining the Athabasca River dry to clean the tar sands. They not only are creating 40% of greenhouse gas emissions for the rest of Canadians but destroying their own environment.

JCLH,

Our dear great leader

I wonder if Harper’s wife is aware of SD’s love for her husband?

#83 Jackie Chan's Left Hand on 04.19.07 at 12:42 pm

Hmmmmm! Perhaps in the name of public service we should tell her , her husband has a stalker .

Facts for the neo-cons in denial :

It turns out that taxpayers are picking up the tab for Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s personal primper.

After two days of ducking media and opposition questions, the Conservatives finally revealed Wednesday that Michelle Muntean is on Harper’s government staff.

But the revelation raises two more big questions: How much is she being paid? And why is there no government record of her employment.

Harper has been travelling with his personal image adviser for major domestic and international events — most recently at ceremonies at Vimy Ridge in France last week. Muntean helps him perfect his look, including managing his wardrobe and general grooming.

News that Harper uses a style maven had the opposition both frothing and laughing.

“Does the prime minister have difficulty sleeping at night wondering whether he should wear the light blue socks or the dark blue ones?” New Democrat MP Judy Wasylycia-Leis asked in the House of Commons, to loud hoots and claps.

Not in the slightest . Not new anything .
Been a Liberal since I was 18, and first voted .

“God I hope so. That’ll teach those whining sniveling cowgirls to mess with the Masters of the Universe .
Teach the rednecks a well deserved lesson in humility .
Yea. work with that GGF .” –Jackie Chan’s Left Hand

You better not hope so because west’s Oil is one of the only things propping up the Canadian economy. 2/3 ‘have’ provinces are ‘have’ provinces because of their oil. If there is a huge tax on the oil, Ontario better be prepared to pay more for equalization.

Too funny! And Chan, you’re just jealous, cause you know Garth loves me more. Besides, perhaps I do think Mr. Dion is truly our great beloved leader.

I am rubber you are glue…names bounce off of me and sticks to you. ha ha ha

Hasn’t it been in the news a lot lately about bullies on the Internet? I wonder where the kids learn it? Chan, any clues?

THAT IS CLASS! I have been waiting for a Liberal ad for so-o-o long! That ad is worth the long wait. It shows Mr. Dion has a lot of class, speaks with his heart, believes in what he is saying, has the stature of a world leader, is a human being with feelings (and not a cold robot). He projects a wonderful image. A picture is worth a thousand words. I will be very proud to be represented by Stéphane Dion anywhere in the world. VIVE STÉPHANE DION!

#93 Dan on 11.15.07 at 9:39 pm

Dion is a twit. Period. Stiff and cold, he is pathetic and weak. And ineffective, as he proved with the rest of his Liberal wimps
